    The articles that the tailor needs are a thimble, needles, scissors,, tape a lap board, smoothing irons, a large iron called the tailors goose and a sewing machine.
    The shirts, socks and stocking were home made. The wearing shirts were made out of flannelette and the Sunday shirts were made of linen.
    The tailor does not go about from house to house as tailors did long ago.
    He stays in his own house and when people want clothes made they go to his house
