Then old people believed that it was not right if any one of the family washed their feet to throw out teh water unless all of the people were indoors.
That water after washing a corpse should be thrown in a shady place, because it was behind that the person would have to come back to do his penance where ever the water is thrown. Some throw it into the ash-corner. In every corpse house they either light fire or seven candles because an odd number is supposed to be a lucky number.
