To whom Told:- Patricia McGrath Kenyon St & M. Spearman Ormond St.Nails were made from Rod iron the best Swedish in fact these nails are in most of the old Nenagh houses and even to-day unbreakable. The nails include hob nails for soles of boots, nails for timber work, slating and various purposes.William Hegarty of Pound Street Nenagh, had a nail factory in Pound Street up to four years ago.
He used to make them with his hands.
1 He got the raw iron.
3 He heated it in the fire
2 He cut it into small lengths
