- There is a place about 1 1/2 miles from Nenagh called Lough Corna[?]. This is how it got its name.
A long time ago a man sowed corn in a field out there. The harvest came very bad and they had no chance of cutting the corn.
One Sunday it happened to be very fine and man said he would cut the corn. As they were yet cutting a priest happened to be on his way to say Mass. He asked them why they were working on a Sunday.
The man told him the reason and the priest being angry told them to leave the field at once.(leanann ar an chéad leathanach eile)- Bailitheoir
