  1. this "fort" is in the townland of Ardcarne. The owner of the land is Mr Kerigan, Ardcarne, Cootehall, Boyle. There are three fences of earth around (eac) this "fort". There is a lot of bushes growing in it. There is a treasure supposed to be hidden in it. There is a story connected with this "fort".
    There is a black cat supposed to be minding the treasure. He was seen some time ago but I do not know the person who saw him because he is dead.
