   Whatever his faults my be
   But to hand three men for the death of one
   That's more than I'd like to see

   The judge did them condemn.
   Although they are dead, their memory dwells
   In the hearts of Irishmen

   May Ireland soon be happy
   And from all oppression free
   May the North and South of Ireland
   Be one in unity
