- This well is in a field belonging to Thomas Brady, Rathbracken. It is near the road leading from Granard to Bunlahy.
"The well called Tobar a Ghamhna was a special well in old times. Afraid that it might be disrespected in any way it was to be always kept covered. There was always a big whitethorn bush kept to cover it, and the man that owned the field would always see that a fresh cover would be put on it when the old one would get withered and small. The children would get terrible warnings about the well, for the old people used to tell them that if the well was left uncovered it would drown the whole country.(leanann ar an chéad leathanach eile)- Faisnéiseoir
