The king was overjoyed and he ordered a great feast to be prepared, and he sent messengers to bring the queen's father and mother. When they came and saw their twelve sons and their lovely daughter they were overcome with joy.
The feast lasted for seven days and seven nights. After that the King and queen and their twelve sons went home. The young King and queen lived long and happy and may we all do the same.

Another version tells that the wicked queen was burnt in the fire she had helped to prepare
