Ballyconnell - My Home District.
I live in the townland of Snugborough. There are over twenty families in the townland and about 96 people and there are 12 ruins of houses. The names most common are Freehill and Carberry. There are some people over seventy in the townland. It is said Snugborough got its name from been a snug place. There is some of the land Moorey, some of it hilly and some of it clayey.
