  1. There is a blessed well in Tullycrine called St Gregory's well, which would cure sore eyes. At the break of day people used go there and do rounds. They used to have to go around a fort doing the rounds, usually everybody would see a supernatural vision. When they used to see it they used to get nervous. They told the priest about it. The priest told them not to go there any more at break of day. They never saw the vision any more. At that well there were several cured of their afflictions. My father saw a little girl named Lizzie ODonnell of Tullycrine who could not walk at the age of six and a half years. Her eldest sister brought her on her back to the well and did a round for her and washed her feet with the water. Her feet were as crooked as
