  1. Fairs were held on certain local crossroads and other places long ago.
    Fairs were held monthly in the village of Stradone, on Clifferna crossroads and on Knockbride branchroads.
    These fairs have long since been discontinued
    Luckpennys were usual the days gone by as well as today
    The "size" of the luckpenny depended on the value of the animal and also on the heart of the seller.
