The birds most commonly found in this district are - blackbirds, thrushes, wrens, crows, robins, sparrows, chaffinches, toms, tits, wagtails, magpies, cranes, pigeons, halks, jackdaws, and the migratory birds are swallows, cuckoos, and corncrakes.
These three birds migrate to warmer countries when the cold weather comes. The sun swallows rem-
ain with us until October. When they are leaving the gather up in batches and sing a song. The cuckoos leave about the middle of Julyand the corncrake leaves about the end of June.
