  2. Signs of the Weather.
    People say when the weather is not wet it is fine weather, and when it is raining it is wet weather. There is quite a number of signs of wet, and dry weather. The signs of the dry weather are as follows-: The swallows fly high in the air, the sky looks high, and bright. The sun is red in the evening when setting, and when a rainbow is seen in the evening the saying is-:
    A rainbow in the morning
    is the shepherd's warning.
    A rainbow at night is the shepherd's delight.
    When the wind blows from the east or north the weather
