  1. In the evening when white streaks which are called streamers are seen going from the sun towards the west is a sign of rain.
    A far out ring round the moon is a sign of rain inside twenty four hours.
    A rainbow in the morning is a sign of a wet day.
    If a rainbow is seen in the end of the week it is said that the following week will be wet.
    The south and south-west wind brings most rain to this country but the coldest rain comes from the east.
    When the swallow flies low and almost skins the ground it is a sign of approaching rain
