  1. Any land where there are thistels growing is the sign of good land. There was an old blind mad one time buying a farm. They went to a farm and the blind man asked them were there any thistles growing on the fields and they said no. The blind man would not buy the farm and he went away. They went to a farm were the fields were covered with thistles and the blind man bought it.
