    the Virginia Blues. The Virginia team won by five goals to nil. There was a man called Tom Dunne who was the goalkeeper for the Virginia team and he never let a goal in between the goalposts in his whole football career.

  2. Fifty years ago a famous football match was played in Broomfield Virginia, between Maghera Mac Finns and the Virginia Sarsfields. There were twenty one men on each side. the teams were picked the same as they are presently. The stars for the Sarsfields were William Snow who now lives in America and
