- Every human person has two feet and it is a essential to care them properly if we are to have comfort in walking, dancing or playing games. The human foot is composed of five bones joined together by muscles, tendons and protected by the skin to assure comfort. Feet should be washed with soap and water and thoroughly dried daily.
The covering of feet whether boots or shoes should fit properly, having wide toes and medium heels. If bad fitting wear is worn, the arch of the foot will drop, bunions will occur on the joint of the great toe and tight foot-wear is also the cause of corns and in-growing nails. These disorders of the feet may be temporarily cured but it is difficult to ensure a complete cure. The only thing that can be done is to care the feet by cleaning(leanann ar an chéad leathanach eile)- Bailitheoir
