said to the priest, "Father the robbers took your hat," and he said, "that it may break his neck" which ever of them took it.
Some time afterwards the robber was noticed by a kind of Guard called the Black Belt in a fair in Mullingar, wearing the priest's hat, the Black Belt brought the robber to the priest's house, he asked the priest Is that your hat?, and the priest "said yes". Some time afterwards the robber was tried and hanged at Mullingar jail.
