  1. Ardfrail Hidden Treasure 15-11-' 37
There is a treasure in Tommy Tully's field Ardfrail, Oldcastle, Co Meath, beside a fort. The field belonged to Thomas Lynch who is dead.
Thomas Lynch said that there was a black cat minding it, and she would have to be shot with a crooked sixpence before they could unearth it.
A man went to dig up the crock of gold and there came a band of frogs before him and they would not let him dig any more. He said that there was a big flag covering the gold and that it was hidden there the tine the Danes were in Ireland.
