  1. There are five fairy forts in my district. They are called fairy forts and they are all situated in the townland of Corlislea. All the forts are in view of one another.
    The forts are circular in shape. There is a fence of earth around them and at every one there is one lone bush growing. There is a pass going into every fort.
    It is supposed that it was the Danes who built these forts. The Danes were supposed to be connected with the forts and the fairies lived in them.
    The owners of the land in my district labour the forts every year.
