Paddy "Sean-ban's" Garden.
In Keelagh, Killeshandra there is a small field called "Paddy 'Sean-ban's' Garden." There are the ruins of an old house in it. It is told that long ago the people fought for possession of a house. Paddy was not afraid of any fight - no matter what weapons were used. He was always the winner and was able to hold his own house.
This field is now supposed to be under a curse. It is unlucky to cut anything in this field.
More than fifty years ago a man name Leech accompanied by William Goodwin, went to cut a small tree in it. He took a chip out of it with the first stroke of the hatchet. Blood began to flow out of the tree, so he left it About a fortnight later they(leanann ar an chéad leathanach eile)- Bailitheoir
