  1. This townland of Upper Corr contains the following families:-
    1st. Faris consisting of 2 persons Mr. John Faris and his wife.
    2nd. Thomas. Mc. Kiernans of Corr, consisting of Father, Mother and 5 children all young.
    3rd. Ecclestons Father Mother and 5 children (of 10 at first).
    4th. A house newly built by Duignan but he has not yet come to live in it.
    5th. John Lynch, workman in Corr House, he occupies the gate-house with 3 of their children. Some of these are on the "dole" just now.
    6th. Henry Stevens, bachelor, who lives alone.
    7. Hugh Montgomery, wife, and 2 children and 1 adopted child.
    8th. Edward Donoho and his mother.
    9 ' Michael Mc. Namee and wife who occupy a cotter house on the Faris lands.
    10 Jas. Chas. Doyle who owns a few acres in this Townland, but does not live in it, also Wm. Sloane.
