Ar an leathanach seo

  1. Situated of left hand side of Virginia Cootehill road about 300 yards from Tullycoe Cross and 20 yards from Road. Fort a large circular mound with no dyke & surrounded by low hedge. Several stories are related by an old age pensioner Catherine Rourke now residing in Calfield. Many a night visitors arrived to her then home in Drumaillagh to hear her relate about the wee folk. She tells about their fairs the noise and laughter accompanying a fair & the clapping of hands denoting the sealing of a bargain. She tells of the midnight working by the wee folk of the creamery of Kilnagarbet & the visit to the forge to shoe horses in the dead of the night but no one places any credence in her romantic tales. A lone bush grew in her land & dare one try to interfere with this. One man dared to cut a branch & Catherine alleges he could not leave the house for years after
