Aniseed
In years past, aniseed boiled in milk was used as a cure for shortness of breath, lungs ect.
Bore-Tree
The bore-tree although not a herb was thought to cure everything. The berries were made into wine and only taken in small quantities. The blossoms were plucked and stored for poultices. It is said the wise people of long ago saluted the bore tree that still grows at every country house
Celery
Celery is still taken as a cure for acute rhumatism.
Crow-Foot
Crow-foot is put as a poultice to a sore [?] throat(leanann ar an chéad leathanach eile)
