Ar an leathanach seo

  1. The most harmful weeds growing at my home are chickenweed wild rhubarb, ground ivy, Alexander weed, tansy, buachaillín bhuidhe, red shank, dockweed, and nettle.
Some of them are harmful, because they spread over the land and choke the young plants. Others impoverish the soil. Nettles grow only in poor soil. When people get stung with a nettle, they rub the juice of a dock on it. The dock leaves are sometimes boiled and given to pigs through their food.
People cut up nettles and mix them through feeding and give it to the turkeys, it is supposed to be good for them.
