It is so believed that Wednesday brings good luck to the people who are getting married. No one likes to get married on a Friday because they believe that the husband would die before they are six months married. The old proverb says "Friday for Crosses." There are no match-making in this district. Money is sometimes given as a dowry for marriage. Stock or goods are very seldom given.
