Ar an leathanach seo

On All Souls' Day the people make calcannon. It is made of potatoes, cabbage, pepper, salt and onions.
On Shrove Tuesday the people make pancakes. They are made of flour, butter, eggs and dripping.
On St Patrick's Day the people wear shamrock in honour of St Patrick.
On Ash Wednesday the people get blessed ashes on their foreheads. - There are two forges around this district. Mr. Michael Hall and Mr. Byrne owns them. Mr. Byrne's forge is built on the side of the road. The roof is made of felt and tarred. The walls are made of concrete and marl. In a forge a big fire are burning, the blacksmith blows the fire with a bellows. A lot of old men are in the forge talking(leanann ar an chéad leathanach eile)
