Ar an leathanach seo

The wild duck is a very frequent bird visitor to the town of Wicklow. It has a dark blue colour, and it has a long beak. It lays twelve to fourteen eggs and builds its nest in a boggy place near the water. As soon as the little ones are hatched, they always make for the marshy and deep water. They hide also, if you accidently came across them, the mother would pretend to be wounded and then all the young ones would fly away and be safe, if you tried to catch the mother then, she would fly away safe and sound to her little family.
