  1. A Shipwreck, There is an old true story told about a man named "Molly -hawk Kavanagh" and his four friends. One night going out to sea he was in the boat with the other men. A storm arose and the ship was wrecked. The four friends swam until they reached a little island. All the others who were in the boat were drowned. One of the men found a wet match in his pocket and they had to dry it. They lit a fire; one of them had to stay up all night to keep the fire lighting and the stayed on that island for about three months. They lived on fish, and birds, called "Moolyhawks" and birds eggs. They built little houses of bushes. After a long time they made a little boat bushes and got a stick and rowed across the sea until they landed on another island. ON it was a little shed for ship-wrecked sailors.
