  1. An old story is told about ”Ballanagh” Avoca, It is said that a hunt goes by every night at midnight.
    The inhabitants waited outside for the hunt. At 12 p.m. they heard dogs barking and horses galloping but they saw nothing at all.
    Once upon a time a man was killed there at a hunt, and it is haunted ever since.
