  1. I know one shop and it was built on a hill (bh) behind my house. It is not there now. It was about half a mile from my house. The people used to buy after mass.
    People used to work in exchange for food and sometime they would give goods.
    A sixpence was called a "tanner" A shilling was called a "bob".
    A pound was called a "quid" There are other names for money
