There once lived a witch in a little house in Glendalough and at night when the people would look in through the window they would see her at the fire kniting and singing, and when they would go in she would turn herself into a hare and run out through a little window that was in the end of the house When the people would chase the grey-hounds after her she would turn into a grey-hound, and would run with the others.
    There once lived a Giant and he thought he could eat more and perform more acts than any one else. To have some fun he invited a very small man to dinner, and when he went the dinner was ready and the two began to eat, and when they began the Giant said if you cannot eat as much as I can I will eat you myself, but the Giant did not know that the man had a sack tied by a string round his neck and instead of eating the food he put it in the sack, the Giant was so busy eating that
