    Some years ago, in Glen Imaal there lived a farmer, and on his farm there was a Rath. One Sunday they were all at Mass, only the servant girl, and she remained at home to prepare the dinner. The fire was not burning brisk, and she went out to the Rath to get some sticks to hurry up the dinner.
    As they were coming from Mass, they met all their pigs running up the road and froth from their mouths.
    The family rushed into the house, and on seeing the blazing sticks on the fire, asked the servant where she had got the sticks. So she told them she had got them in the Rath - so they took the burning sticks out of the fire and left them back in the Rath. Then the pigs came back, and all was right again, and the people thanked God, and put the pigs back into their stye.
