- The View Rock is situated on the Little Sugarloaf. People from various places have come there in Summer time and climbed this rock for the one purpose and that was to see the scenery such as Howth Head, Killiney HIll, Bray Head, and the Light House.
- In olden times what we now call "The Fraughan Bushes" was all Little Sugarloaf. The Earl of Meath got all his workmen and tenants to surround all the fraughan bushes with a large stone wall and claimed it Private Property. In this park the people congregate for amusement to gather fraughans.

- The Silver Well rises in Big Sugarloaf. It gets its name as Silver Well because it rises in a clump of silvery stones and bright sands.
