    There are no tailors in the district at present. The nearest tailor lives in Bunclody. He does not travel from house to house he works in his home. The tailor stocks cloth. There is no cloth spun or woven locally. The chief kind of cloth used by the men is serge, corduroy and suiting. The tailor uses a machine scissors, and tape. Shirts are not made in the home they are bought in the local shops. There is no account of shirts of cloth made in this district long ago. Socks and stockings are sometimes knitted in the houses. Thread is not spun in the homes and there are no spinning wheels in the district at present. Each person wears his best clothes at a wedding or a funeral but they are not made specially for that occasion.
