  1. My uncle, John told me this story about three weeks ago. He is about forty years of age. He said, that some years ago that a family lived in Donegal named the Kennedy's. They were bad living people. After some time when all the Kennedy's had died no one bought the place because the people said that every night a ghost was seen going around the house at twelve o'clock. The house went to ruins as nobody kept it done up. Very soon the roof fell in and then there was nothing left but the four walls. Some boys said that they would like to see was it true about the ghost appearing at twelve o'clock in the night, they brought sticks and a flash lamp with them. One of the boys stayed at the door with a big stick and a flash lamp in his hand and the other boy stayed at the other side. At last the ghost appeared and the boy made a
