  1. My father who is a stone mason happened to be working in a house named Captain Acock's in some part of Wexford. He was coming home pretty late one night. It was on a Saturday night. Coming through a wood owned by the Captain, he and a comrade stood to light their pipes to have a smoke. The part they stopped in was called Jerusalem Hollow. Just as he was going to light his pipe, suddenly a big long pipe was stretched under the match. He looked around him and could see no one. He got a great fright. This is a true story.
