    I live in the townland of Glasshouse, and my Parish is Shinrone. I also live in the baroney of Clonlisk. There is about sixteen houses in Glasshouse The majority of the houses in Glasshouse are tatched. I also live near an old ruins called Blakefield. It got its name by a family that lived there long ago called Blake. In years gone by there was a very big house built near Shinrone. There was so much glass in this house the townland was called Glasshouse.
    The most common name in the District is Ryan. The is an old man in Glasshouse and he is very good at story telling and his name is Mr Edward Coonan, Glasshouse, Shinrone. Long ago there were more houses in the District than there is now.
    After Mr Rolleston dying in Glassshouse a man left his bicycle inside the gate. He went to herd his cattle in a field. It was a moonlit night. When
