  1. 1. It is said that this is not a right thing to do. To count the cars in a Funeral.
    2. It is also said that when you meet a funeral, you should always walk back a few steps with it.
    3. Some people say, that you should not smoke or drink at a funeral.
    4. Some people close their door when a funeral is passing to keep away death for the year.
    5. When a funeral is coming up Tullabeg Hill, all the people stand and say prayers there. The reason of this is. Long ago the monks used to meet the funeral there. Then they used to take the corpse back with them to Clonmacnoise, and bury it.
    6. All the people who came with the funeral turned back from Tullabeg. The same thing used to happen on the road from Shannon-bridge. There is a tree there still called the
