were made by a family named Odlum of Barrack Street. The best oaten straw was collected and twisted into ropes and made in a circle. They were fastened together by fresh cut briar. The nails were made by a family named Power. They were made from wire that was heated and the nailers finished the hot wire into small nails. This was all done by hand work. The tobacco and snuff were made by raw material which was grown by farmers. Goodbodys of Clara did this.
