- Once upon a time there was a man from the mountain, and he was going through Fenter. He met the Tarlentons and the Hargroves of Killeigh. They had a strange man which he thought was a lay man. He asked them what (them) they were going to do with the man. They said they were going to hang him in Fenter Rookery, and he would not let them. After that this man from the mountain was looking for potatoes. He could not get any anywhere unless he went to Kildare. So he went to Kildare and he could got no(leanann ar an chéad leathanach eile)
