Ar an leathanach seo
- (ar lean ón leathanach roimhe)builds its nest like a big ball with two holes one in each side and lays about ten eggs. The eggs are white with brown spots. The stave builds its nest in trees or old houses. It is black but smaller than the black-bird. The water-hen lives in canals or ditches. The robin is supposed to have got the red on its breast when our Saviour was killed. The robin flow to the cross to pull out the nails in doing so blood fell on its breast. When the wild geese fly high it is a sign of good weather. When the swallows fly high it is a sign of good weather.
