    People of this district light a candle on Christmas Eve Night. It is in memory of the time when the Holy Family were wandering around Bethlehem looking for somewhere to stay the night and the lights in the windows of the houses are supposed to show that they are welcome in each house.
    When King Herod's soldiers heard that Our Lord and the Blessed Virgin and St. Joseph were left Bethlehem they started out after them.
    On their way the Holy Family passed by a man sowing wheat. Immediately the wheat sprang up and ripened. Next day Herod's soldiers came along. They asked the man that was cutting the corn did he see a man, a woman and a child passing along the
