    Proverbs
Cows over the sea have long horns.
    Health is better than wealth.
All light tasks were hard at first.
One bird in the hand is worth two in the bush.
It is a bad hen that cannot scratch for herself.
Early to bed and early to rise makes a man healthy, wealthy and wise.
Never put off till tomorrow what you can do today.
A stitch in time saves nine.
Strike when the iron is hot.
Make hay while the sun shines.
Neccessity is the mother of invention.
April showers bring forth May flowers.
A wet and a windy May fills the haggard with corn and hay.
A sloe year is a low year.
A haw year is a braw year.
    Everyone has his own story.
The beginning of health is sleep.
    Better late than never.
The thing nearest the heart is nearest the mouth.
Don't be swift to speak nor slow to learn.
Where the women are there is talk.
