    Hidden Treasure
    There is supposed to be a crock of gold hidden in Ballyorrel graveyard. It is buried in a grave. The graveyard is round in shape and there are trees growing in it. There was an old man who who saw a light in the middle of it. It is supposed tohave been hidden in "the time of the trouble."
    A crock of gold is supposed to have been hidden a long time ago under a tree on the banks of the Urrin river near the Daffney. It is said that once, when ten men were digging for the treasure and they thought they were near it, a big bull ran at them and four died with the fright.
