- The one day of the year and the one night that any importance is added to here is Hallow E'en. On this night the young people "dress up" and wear masks on their faces, they are called "vizards". They are seen going round from place to place singing, laughing and dancing.This was a very popular amusement up to quite recently, but like many other amusements the games were not carried out as they should be, and last Hallow E'en, Gardai had to be called upon on one occasion of a visit by the "vizards".
