    Morris castle or Morrows' Castle
    Morris castle is the name given to the strip of sea shore about one mile long and half mile wide between Ballinoulart and Tinnaberna Gap.
    There is still to be seen the ruins of a very old castle at Morriscastle or Dundrum. I can't state now which townland claims it. I rather fancy the latter, for I have heard that the old Castle was a most important place in the old days.
    It is stated on good authority that it was the see of a Bishop.
    It is also locally believed that there is an underground connection between this castle at Dundrum and the famous castle of the Mc Murrough at Ferns.
