    Persons are usually married in the brides parish church. It is considered unlucky for the bride to wear green or to be married on Friday as the following rhyme says
    Monday for health
    Tuesday for Wealth
    Wednesday for the best day of all.
    Thursday for losses
    Friday for crosses
    Saturday no day at all.
    May is also said to an unlucky month to be married in.
    After the pair being married they return to their home for the wedding
