- When the Yeos were losing in Wexford and were flying from the town, a man whose name was Mac Cormac put a brazen helmet on him and urged his men to stay where they were, and not to be cowards and to fight the battle out, so they stayed in Wexford, but they were defeated and he and his followers flew from the town, they were so frightened by the pike-men.
Mac Cormac's wife was very proud of her husband and thought him a very worthy man. When he had flown from the town with his comrades, she stayed in the town and minded the wounded soldiers that were on the old Wexford bridge, opposite the old(leanann ar an chéad leathanach eile)
