Nov. 5th 1847. 11 a.m. Showed our colours to one of Her Majesty's line of battle ships flying a blue ensign bound "Eastardly".Speed of the Lady Bagot
Sailing prochcally due E. and due W. she made on an average 2 degrees Long. per 24 hours.Names of Crew
Wm. Simpson - who fell down in the hold of Savannah 24th Dec. 1847. Taken to hospital by Capt. next day 25th Dec. Came out of hospital 6th Jan. 1848 and resumed duty 10th Jan. 1848
Martin Moran - who was put in jail in Savannah for fighting a coloured man. Capt. procured his release next day.
